Retina compliant logos

    I am having trouble displaying retina-compliant logos in WP (ie. create a logo at say 600px wide but display on page 300px wide)

    For some reason WP seems to ignore img src width and height values. Is there any way around this?

    In HTML I normally just create a logo at double res (2x pixel dimensions) and insert with the dimension halved.

    Thank you.

    possibly caused by some formatting/css in your theme;

    try to use Firefox with the add-on Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ or similar to investigate which styles are formatting the logo.

    Thanks very much for the idea, but have tried that. The line is simply:

    <img width=”250″ height=”30″ src=”logo.png”>

    Yet the logo appears in the blog at 500 x 60…

    No other css styling applies to the pic. It’s as if WP always uses 100% – it happens in every WP site I administer. I am obviously missing something really stupid 😉
