    Hi,

I have some “miscellaneous” cookies, of which no automatic retention period has been filled out, so it is blank in the cookies table for the visitor.

I manually fill out the “retention period”, and it saves correctly in the back-end. However, in the front-end, it does not show. It just keept that table cell blank, even after thoroughlyt clearing all caches.

How can this be solved ?

    Thanks

    Hi @french2webdesign,

Could you share your policy? I will have a look on cookiedatabase.org, and see if we can just fill those in and another sync will be enough.

    Hi,

So does this mean that the function to manually change the retention period in complianz is broken ?

Here is the cookie policy, see under “misc”, thanks :

    Hi @french2webdesign,

I’ve just tested this functionality and it works on my end. Could you attempt the following steps?

    – Under Cookie descriptions in the Wizard, re-sync with CookieDatabase once.
    – Upon completion, enlarge the Cookie you wish to edit and make your changes. Ensure that “Sync cookie info with cookiedatabase.org” is disabled for the edited Cookie, and click the “Save” button under the Cookie.

    – Click “Save & Continue” on the bottom of the page, and on the next page “Service descriptions” click “Save & Continue” as well.

Example of Cookie Policy with changed retention period from persistent to 1 day:

Let me know if that does the trick.
