Hi,

When I perform an empty search, the widget returns results from my blog and custom post types. Otherwise, it seems to work when I search for forum content that exists.

I’m not using buddypress, just wp and bbpress 2.1.3 .

Please update to version 2.3+ of bbPress and version 2.0.0+ of this plugin here! This should resolve all theme/ template/ display problems of results, as my plugin now builds on top of the bbPress (built-in) search functionality. I hope that helps.
