Result appears in test not but not on actual site

Hi!

Just installed SE and am getting different results from the Test Search Form then actual use on the website.

How can I confirm that SE is being used on my site. It’s installed and activated. My only thought is that I’m using the following code to install a search bar on a page, not as a widget:
