Here is my reason for using this plugin. Placing files in folders and keeping them organized. This is the main task of this plugin. So what do you need in this order? Of course , of course see the folders. Well in version 4.9.8 I can’t see my folders anymore. My files seem messy. And I am presented with the following offer. If you want to see the folders, buy it.

I find it logical to be paid for additional benefits in a plugin, but I find it completely unreasonable to have one’s primary role in a plugin converted to a paid one. So I had to delete the plugin. .s

    Hi @aslan4789 ,

    Thanks for using FileBird!
So, please note that the primary function of the plugin as you have said works with the default WordPress editor “Gutenberg”.

Is that not the case for you? If Not, then this is an issue we could help you check.

If you want to see files via some other 3rd party editors and plugins, you might need to consider the PRO version.

That idea is fair enough, right?

    “My files seem messy”
==> What exactly do you mean by this, please? And can you send a screenshot?

    Thank you!

    Kind regards,

When selecting images in the attributes, I can’t see my folders.

In version 4.9.7 I could see my folders. In the new version I can’t see my folders to find the file I want. Isn’t that the primary function of the plugin?

    Hi @aslan4789 ,

    Thanks for the screenshot reference!
But then again, I ask, did you checked the comparison link I attached earlier and may I know which editor you are using?

    Kind regards,

I am using elementor and elementor support is not visible in the link you posted. I think elementor support has been closed to free users in the new version.

So can I ask you something?

In the link you sent, most editor support is turned off.
You realize that this is the primary function of the plugin. Is it right to restrict such an important feature to editors? Do you really think this is a feature that needs a pro?

    Hi @aslan4789 ,

Yes, thats right, Elementor is a 3rd party plugin and as such we have a handful of other 3rd party builders we supported too, like Beaver, DIVI, WP Bakery etc.

We spend a lot of time and money to maintain these codes with each and every 3rd party builders we have supported, in other to make sure the functions keep working with these builders.

So, I think it is fair enough that we have the plugin’s “main” feature work with FileBird free version plus WordPress’s default editor (Gutenberg).

Hope you understand better from a developer and marketer perspective!

I understand, but I want to give some advice. I understand you from your developer point of view, but I regret to say that I do not understand from your marketing point of view. I am also a manufacturer in my own industry. The product I produce is really needed compared to other products. I divide the requirements of this need into two. I offer the basic requirements of my product to all buyers at very affordable prices and it really does not give me any money. However, I do this because the more widespread my product becomes, the more likely it will grow, and the more they are used by everyone, the more likely they are to get extra features. In this way, I reach a lot of customers. And they constantly advise each other. I also make money from the growing audience.

    Hi @aslan4789 ,

Thank you so much for the marketing advice and it will be forwarded as a suggestion to our marketing unit 😉

Also, just for your information, the PRO version costs a small, one-time fee which gives you lifetime access to future updates.

    Kind regards,
    -Bruce-
