    Hi,

    I need to import 300 users using your plugin. Can I set Access Levels at the same time for the plugin above? I’d like to be able to set access levels at the same time.

    Thanks!

    Good morning,

    Nowadays, this plugin does not have compatibility with this other one.

    If Restrict User Access manage those levels as metadata, you can use their key-values.

    If not, if they use some more complex method, tell us if you are interested in making it available in the plugin, tell us and we discuss how you can support our develop.

    In the users section of WordPress they have added a column for access levels:

    Username Name Email Role Access Levels Posts

    When you click on a user, they have added a section called Access at the bottom of the page:

    Account Management

    New Password
    Sessions
    Log Out Everywhere Else
    Access

    Access Levels

    How can I import to this structure. I would love your help to do so.

    Thanks!

    @geoffj,

    Ok but really you want to import “User level access”. Question is:

    • If this is a metadata, you can find it and use it directly
    • If this a more complex structure, you can support the develop

    Support the develop is:

    • If you know how to code it, you make the patch and we include it
    • If not, you have to write us to contacto@codection.com and we talk about a quote (you pay the develop, and it is included in the plugin with a special credit for you)

    Thanks to you!

    Javier,

    Amazing plugin! I actually was able to ad a column to the .csv file and it imported the Access Levels. I can’t see to ad First Name or Last Name. Is that supported? I made the columns: First Name and Last Name.

    Thanks!

    @geoffj,

    In documentation you have the instructions:

    • first_name
    • last_name

    Please remember to give a little donation or write a good review to make possible to continue working in this 🙂

    Javier,

    You are amazingly fast! I was just coming back to say I found it. I missed it the first time.

    Thanks!

    Yes. Well done! Do you do any other WP customization? I’d like to keep in touch.

    Javier,

    Ok looks like I have lost the ability to import Access Levels. It worked the 1st time but now it does not. How can I check if it is metadata controlled?

    @geoffj,

    We work all our time with WordPress. Making code, plugins and custom develops.

    Try to find the correct Access Level slug, maybe you are not using the slug.

    (@geoffj)

    This is really odd. I ha it import once and now I cannot. I was using a column named “Access Levels” the first time. Where do I find the slug?

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-automate-level-membership/

    I found : rua_add_user_level($user->ID,$level_id);

    Does this tell me a slug?

    Javier,

    An update: I downloaded your file again and added my column but saved it with another name and now it has taken the default access level from the estrict User Accesss plugin. This has my head spinning. Any idea why this happens?

    Thanks!

    @geoffj,

    Sorry for the delay. I was out of the office.

    rua_add_user_level this is not part of our plugin.

    Which plugin are you using?
