Restrict Tickets to Members (as designated by Paid Memberships Pro)

    We would like to create two ticket levels for members and non-members (free for current, paid members of LERAchapter.org, and some amount for non-members). The Events Manager software, as far as I can see, will restrict ticket level access by “logged in” status, in other words by who is a current, registered user of the WordPress site, but I see no such restriction for “current, paid member” status. I am using Events Manager for bookings, and a plugin called Paid Memberships Pro for membership, and it would not be our first choice to change either of these plug-ins at the moment. Is there a way to get Events Manager to be aware of more than who is a logged in user, but rather who is a “regular” member, or “student” member, etc.? (Almost all associations that I know of will price their tickets by member level, rather than by who is logged in or who is logged out.)

    At the moment EM is not yet integrated with Paid Memberships, however, it should work fine with s2member – https://wp-events-plugin.com/blog/2013/08/14/events-manager-5-5/

    Hello. I came looking for the same info. I’m using Ultimate Membership Pro. The link Angelo posted is from 2013. Are there any plans to expand the list of membership plugins that EM will work with?

    I definitely gave up on S2member right away. A headache and sub-standard to our current member software. I instead paid a programmer to do what needed to be done, and I have no idea how they did it.

    EM will work with any membership plugin that uses or maps to WP user roles (or custom WP roles). Most membership plugins I have found do this via an add-on, syncing membership levels with custom WP roles.

    With EM, you then select the roles you want tickets restricted to, which equate to membership levels.
