    I believe this plugin can help me achieve what I need.

    The scenario:
    * Users 1 and 2 are subscribers, and I want them to see only posts of Category A;
    * User 3 is a subscriber, and I want him to see only posts of Category B and C;
    * User N is a subscriber, and I want him to see only posts of Category Z;
    * From the role Authors and up I want them to view everything.

    I can have any number of subscribers, and they can only view posts of their assigned categories.

    Registration is not open, so the number of subscribers, and who can view what are controlled by site Admins.

    I need some help. What are the rules I need to set in the plugin configuration?

    You can set up Access Levels like this:

    Level 1:
    Add Category A to the conditions and assign the level to User 1 and 2.

    Level 2:
    Add Category B and C to the conditions and assign the level to User 3.

    Level N:
    Add Category Z to the conditions and assign the level to User N.

    Level Authors:
    Add “All Categories” to the conditions and synchronize the level with the Author role.

    Note however, that restrictions currently don’t apply to individual posts on archive pages, widgets and custom lists.

    Let me know if this works for you.
