Support » Plugin: Restrict User Access - Membership Plugin with Force » restrict posts that appear in both categories

  • Resolved feuerlust

I can’t seem to find a way to make a condition that if a post has BOTH categories (for example Chapter 12 AND Archived) that it should be locked. What ends up happening is posts that have either Chapter 12 or Archived is being locked.

Another workaround I tried was to have the condition to lock/restrict posts that have the category “Chapter 12” AND the tag “archive”. Since I can’t have two category conditions. But what happens is posts that have the Chapter 12 category are locked, even if they don’t have the tag: “archive”

Basically combining conditions doesn’t seem too work. like in this setup..

I would have expected posts with that had both category “12 Dave’s Story” AND the tag “archive tag” to be locked. But what is happening is having only one of those conditions is enough to lock that post.

    Thank you for reporting this.

This is a long standing bug (probably the longest). Taxonomy conditions in the same group are currently not treated as AND even though the UI displays it. It is on my todo list to fix, so I will see if it can be done in the next version.
