Restrict Forums from Being Cached?

  • Hello,

I recently installed W3 Total Cache on my website http://www.muchmoregaming.com – I love it! It’s working great!

I have noticed on minor issue. I’m running the Simple Press Forums plugin, so my site has message boards, at http://www.muchmoregaming.com/forum

I’ve tried to set the forums up to not be cached – the caching was messing up people being able to see who is online/latest post etc. But it still seems to be acting weird.

In the “Never Cache The Following Pages” section I’ve added the following lines:

    /forum/
    /forum/.+

Is this correct? I want to NOT cache any url running under /forum

Can someone confirm / help me with what to do?

    Thanks,

    -Andy
