Restoring Stuck 6% Complete for the past Hour

    I have been trying to RESTORE a backup of the website for the past few hours. The restore is stuck at 6% for the past hour. The website is now broken. Is there another way to Import the Backup so I can get the website back up and running? I have used the plugin several times without issue but this site is 1,022.93 MB (it’s large).

    I have tried 4 times to Import my backup but still nothing. I also emailed to find a solution. Please let me know what other options there are to get the import to work. Thank you

    Try to enable debugging after the website gets stuck: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress

    See if the error message is generated from a plugin and disable it.

    Make sure that the two websites are using the same version of PHP.

    Also, what hosting provider and plan are you using?

    I am trying to back up an early copy of the website from the day prior. So the version of PHP is the exact same. We are hosted with Media Temple. I have used this plugin before on a few other sites on Media Temple and it worked but this website is not. This is very important that this plugin work.

    I just setup an entire new wordpress install on Godaddy and tried to RESTORE the backup but it’s still stuck at 6%. I entrusted my hard work and client’s site with your plugin as well as paid for the additional support. Can you please help me figure out why it’s not restoring?
