# Restoring problem

 * Backup and restore indicated both were successful. However, when I try accessing
   wp-admin of my new domain, I am redirected back to my prev domain admin.
 * There was a message about permanent links, though not certain what I need to 
   change, if this is the problem.

 * Not certain if this was a workaround, or a step I should have done…I changed 
   the domain in the DB, via phpMyAdmin, and seems to be fine. Please indicate this
   is necessary, or if there’ another step I missed.

 * no that isn’t needed,sounds like it failed during the database search and replace.
   
   you can use [this database search and replace script](http://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/)
   if this keeps happening (we use the same thing internally).

 * Hello,
 * During the restore i have this message
 * The plugin encountered an error while extracting the zip file using WP’s zip 
   file extractor,the following error message was returned:
    Error Message : Impossible
   de créer le dossier.
 * Create the directory is not possible but what directory ??
