# Restoring database… 0% complete (stuck)

 * Hello, I am attempting to import a saved site on a different host. I’m starting
   from a scratch WP installation. The saved export uploaded OK. I received a warning
   about the old host being PHP 7 and the new host PHP 8, but I proceeded anyway.
   However, the import is stuck (has been for > 10 mins) saying “Restoring database…
   0% complete”. The DB is very small.
 * Is there anything I can do? I can’t switch the new host to PHP 7.

 * I’ve now seen from the WP error log that the plugin has restored the original
   theme, which is causing a problem (probably connected to PHP 7->8). Is there 
   any way of stopping the plugin doing that, and using another theme?
