Restoring Backups logs out users

    Hi,

    every time I restore a backup (Updraft Plus or BackUp Guard), all users using Safari and some using Chrome get logged out automatically.
    That hurts user experience quite a lot.

    Does anybody had a similar problem?

    Hey @treelia this is due to WordPress storing logged in sessions that aren’t valid after a backup/restore or DB migration – most WordPress backup/migration plugins cause this and unfortunately isn’t something WP User Manager can stop.

    I will look into those backups. One thing: This only happens to Safari Users, not a problem with Chrome or Firefox.
