 * Hello all,
 * Today when I used the automatic update plugin to upgrade my wp, I got some fatal
   errors in the last step which was “upgrade the installation files”. So I don’t
   want to upgrade anymore and just stay with 2.6. I have the back up database and
   files. How can I restore them?
 * Thanks a lot!

 * btw, my fatal error is: Call to undefined function wp_clone() in /mnt/w0204/d24/
   s31/b0293d4e/www/bongdavietnam.org/blog/wp-includes/cache.php on line 380

 * That’s why I don’t like using scripts do to installs or upgrades. It’s best to
   do them the old fashioned way.
 * Try uploading a fresh copy of this file –> wp-includes/functions.php
 * Actually, odds are if that file didn’t make it others may not have as well.

 * I just installed WordPress and settings, profile, all works, but when I hit, “
   visit site”, nothing shows. I checked my pHp and I do not have the file LenK
   said should be there: wp-includes/functions,php. Should I have that file in my
   db?

 * The file `functions.php` is located in the `wp-includes` folder and I’m certain
   its absence is what is causing the error experienced by fancom.
 * With respect to your problem web_M8 are you sure it’s not there? A blank site
   is usually caused by a PHP error such as whitespace where none should be. Double
   check `wp-config.php` to ensure their is no space before the opening `<?php`
   tag and after the closing `?>` tag. Seeing how this is a fresh install you probably
   aren’t yet using any plugins – or are you? If so deactivate.
 * Have you checked your error logs? What do they say?
