I downloaded the new version of Responsive and started making edits on it. I didn’t know I should have made a child version. Now I want to restore the original Responsive because I’ve been messing the with the css and there are problems. I tried to delete and reinstall it but all the information is the same. Help? Thanks in advance.

Possibly because the changes are still stored in your database. However, after installing the unedited version, you may revert to the WordPress default theme and then return to your theme so that the old changes may go away. Another possibility is that you might be seeing the cached version. Clear cookies and cache and view again.
