# Restore posts via SQL

 * Hello,
    I tried to restore my posts from a older database to the new one. If 
   I export the posts from the old database, there is no problem but they are without
   categories. So I tried to export these tables:
 * wp_posts
    wp_postmeta wp_term_relationships wp_term_taxonomy wp_terms and wp-
   termmeta
 * But when I tried to import these to the new database, the tables are still empty.
   How can I fix this? I also saved them as .xml but I doesn´t work, it´s uploading
   but nothing is added to WordPress. I have also renamed the tables to ne new prefix
   gowp_posts etc.
 * Any idea?
