  • Resolved pjbomar

I am trying to restore the plugins for my WP site using Updraft Plus. When I try to restore, I get the following error code:

PHP event: code E_NOTICE: Indirect modification of overloaded element of WP_Hook has no effect (line 377, wp-content/object-cache.php

I am hesitant to move forward with the restore. What does this code mean and is it safe to continue restoring the plugins?

    Apologies for the delay.

This appears to be related to a modified object-cache.php file on GoDaddy’s managed servers. Are you hosted by GoDaddy?

The issue should be resolved in the latest versions of WordPress. What version is currently installed?

In any case, this appears to be a notice only, and should not affect the restoration.
