# Restore from zero

 * I deleted the whole public_html folder. I have a back up of my website with zipped
   files (plugins,others,themes,uploads,db). How can I restore the whole website
   now?

 * Just copy the files back to where they used to be, I assume in public_html.

 * use [FTP ](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients), or your web-host’s cPanel
   or whatever file management application your host provides (no Dashboard access
   required).

 * Thank u very much Tara and James. I finally managed to log in WP dashboard and
   restored my site via a plugin.
