    Hello support.
    I am having a restore issue. I get the following error:

    Restore failed…
    • Error: Existing unremoved folders from a previous restore exist (please use the “Delete Old Directories” button to delete them before trying again): /home2/mysticba/public_html/wp-content/plugins-old

    I click the delete button, then the click “Return to UpdraftPlus Configuration” and restart restore again and the get this error:

    Error message: Could not move old files out of the way. You should check the file ownerships and permissions in your WordPress installation (/home2/mysticba/public_html/wp-content/backup-1438351615-themes)

    Hi David,

    It appears to be a file permission/ownership issue, meaning UpdraftPlus or WordPress does not have the correct read or write permission to a certain folder or file.

    Hi @wpmc,

    Please could you create a new thread, and post the full backup log file?

    The contents of the file will be too long to post directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.
