 * Hello !
 * I recently had a problem that forced me to restore an old backup. However, when
   loading this backup, it returned an error, and I can’t go back.
   Automatic backup
   is enabled, and has not shown me any problems. So I think the problem comes from
   rewriting my backup on my existing site.In the last lines of the logs, I have
   this message:“Error message: Files could not be set up. Check your file permissions.”“
   Error data (move_failed): (2) /srv/htdocs/wp-content/upgrade/027d5670/mu-plugins/
   wpcomsh -> /srv/htdocs/wp-content/mu-plugins/wpcomsh”
 * So I tried to change the permissions via FileZilla by going through “File access
   rights…” and checking the read/write/execute boxes for each, but nothing helped.
   I don’t have the solution to my problem, so if you have any recommendations or
   pointers, I’d love to hear from you.
 * Thanks in advance!

 * Hello,
 * Would it be possible for you to share the entire restoration log via [pastebin.com](http://pastebin.com)
   please?
 * You may also try leaving the mu-plugins component out of the restoration initially.
   Instead, download and extract it to your desktop so you have a folder called
   mu-plugins.
   Connect via FileZilla and rename any existing mu-plugins folders
   in wp-content and then upload the one you have just extracted.

 * Hello,
 * Here are the logs (in two parts because too long) :
 * _#1 : [https://pastebin.com/ftRH1dzX](https://pastebin.com/ftRH1dzX)_
 * _#2 : [https://pastebin.com/nY3Vtpft](https://pastebin.com/nY3Vtpft)_
 * I tried to save without the “mu_plugins” folder, and it didn’t work, and returned
   the same error. Maybe I didn’t do it right. Here’s how I did it.
 * UpdraftPlus > Settings > Include in backup > check Any other directory found
   in wp-content > Exclude this from Others: > mu-plugins/mu-plugins*
   Then save
   and restore.
 * Let me know if I’ve made a mistake.

 * Hello,
 * Please could you double check your permissions using [this](https://www.malcare.com/blog/wordpress-file-permissions/)
   guide? Try setting the mu-plugins folder to 755 and the files to 644. To leave
   out mu-plugins from the restoration you can do so within the restoration wizard
   by unticking it as per [this](https://prnt.sc/N3n4ulIBzFsQ) screenshot.

 * Hi !
 * Apparently I have two mu-plugins folders, one in srv > htdocs > wp-content >
   mu-plugins, and one in wordpress > mu-plugins.
   The folder in wordpress is set
   up correctly (755 for folders, 644 for files). However, the folder in srv refuses
   to change its permissions, and this is the one who got me an error according
   to the logs.`Error: set attrs for /srv/htdocs/wp-content/mu-plugins: permission
   denied`Also, I tried to restore a version without the essential plugins, and
   it turns out that there’s also an error with the Jetpack plugins. It’s the same
   problem, there must be a permissions issue. Here’s the log if needed:

 * Hello,
 * Thank you for the update. Since there is a permissions issue and you are unable
   to change the permissions of the folder in question to prevent the error, I would
   advise contacting your hosting company or server administrator to investigate
   this further.
