# Restore doesn’t work

 * And when I click “next” and skip the warning, I get this error:

 * I tried downloading the backup (7 files) to my harddrive, then uploading to wp-
   content/updraft

 * I’m out of my wits here!!

   But it was just a blank file. Nothing

 * I tried deleting the backup from wp-content/updraft and re-uploading, no difference
   in result
 * I tried restoring another backup that Updraft hasn’t downloaded. I’m then stuck
   here:

 * I tried uploading another backup via FTP but FTP won’t let me upload files.

 * Hi,
 * Apologies for the late reply.
 * It appears that the process gets timed out or killed off by your server. Please
   consult your host/server admin. The PHP error log should show the exact cause
   of the issue.
