# Restore corrupted

 * I tried to restore backup, but database tables are not restored correctly. Prefix
   is incorrect:

 * Dear Erik,
 * The prefix `%%sg_db_prefix%%` is being automatically replaced by the current 
   prefix on restoration. We keep this for migration. When you backup your site 
   and move it on another WordPress installation where prefix is different then 
   the first one, your restoration will fail if we don’t automatically detect and
   replace it for you. In other words this is not an issue, but feature. If you 
   need to restore your SQL file manually without using our plugin, you should replace`%%
   sg_db_prefix%%` with your current prefix.
