Restore Backup

    Hi there,
    if for any reason someone needs to restore a backup – for example if the page is crashed.
    Do I need to disable the plugin before or can I just drop the database, import the backup database, drop the files over ftp and import the backupped data?
    Or will this crash the site because of the missing ninjafirewall.php in the meantime?

    Consider renaming the .user.ini before restoring your data, so that you won’t be bothered by the firewall while reinstalling the DB etc.
    Then, restore the .user.ini file when everything’s ready.

    Great! But anything else isn’t to do? Just rename the user.ini to disable full waf, wait 5 minutes and then start the backup?

    Yes, that’s correct.
    If you need to restore NinjaFirewall’s configuration backup, you can also do it from the “NinjaFirewall > Firewall Options” page.
