# restoration issues

 * I have created local backups and dropbox backups successfully. I have three of
   each. When I attempt to perform a restore the seconds just keep counting up, 
   I have given it 30 minutes and nothing other than counting happens.
 * Note when I perform the backup I see another box to the right populate with three
   entries, optimization of database tables, creation of database dump, archiving
   of files. When I click the restore button this box does not appear! There are
   no messages, just the big box that says ‘please wait…’ and a timer counting up.
 * I have tried updating all of my plugins and themes.

 * I installed the ‘UpdraftPlus’ plugin and both functions, backup and restore worked.
 * I’m switching over to it.

 * Restore is different process from the backup. It does not have the box you are
   talking about at all during the operation.
 * When you start restoration process you have one box with time script, where you
   can see that the process has started.
 * You have the box with optimization of database tables, creation of database dump,
   archiving of files ONLY when you are creating a backup.
