# restart payment setup

 * I was checking thru previous posts regarding entering incorrect info setting 
   up Woocommerce payment gateway, and not being able to go back and change it. 
   The solution appeared to be removing account at your end, so it could be restarted.
   Is that possible Pls?
   In regards to the website, its still in development so 
   doesnt appear under its correct domain name until published, is that going to
   cause any issues to complete setup?

   I can see
   one of our Happiness Engineers have deleted your account, you can start over 
   now. 🙂</img>If the current site is a staging/development environment, then it’s
   better to set up the plugin in [dev mode](https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-payments/testing-and-troubleshooting/dev-mode/)
   before going live. Once you’re done with development, you can remove the staging
   declaration in wp-config and continue to create a live account. Please note if
   you make a normal account, then you can’t access dev mode, but you still be able
   to experiment in [Test mode](https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-payments/testing-and-troubleshooting/testing/).
