# REST API Key Creation Error

 * Hi,
 * I’ve loaded your plugin, and it is mostly working ok. I was able to create a 
   key. It does throw an error on the License Keys page (“The site is experiencing
   technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”)
   in the Order column, however the key does appear to have been created. This is
   not my main problem, only mentioned for additional context.
 * The main problem I have is when trying to create a REST API Key. I fill out the
   details, as per attached and click “Generate API Key”. It then displays an error
   as per the attached.
 * Are you able to provide any details as to what may be going on here and how to
   fix?

 * No problem. It just occured to me, that the plugin uses a WooCommerce native 
   function to generate hashes when creating REST API keys `wc_api_hash()`.
 * I will rewrite this part of the code, so that the plugin can also be used without
   WooCommerce, should someone only want to use the plugin as a licensing server.
 * Thank you for bringing this to my attention, should you need anything else let
   me know.
 * PS: It would also mean a lot to me if you could rate the plugin here on WordPress.
   org. These reviews really help the plugin to grow and mean a lot to me personally.
