 * Does EME provide a JSON API, where one can access the events?
 * I would like to use WordPress as a Backend for an App I am developing, and I’m
   not yet sure if it’s possible using EME.

 * While EME provides a number of functions you can use, it does not provide a REST
   API interface. There’s also the RSS and ICAL option in EME, but that’s it (although
   those might give you what you need).
