We have detected the following issues on your site:

1. The version installed and activated on your end is “4.3.9”, please update the GDPR Cookie Compliance plugin to the latest version (4.4.4) and purge all the cached on your site.

2. The wp-admin area is restricted on your site, including AJAX (wp-admin/admin-ajax.php) too. This prevents our plugin from working properly. In order to get this sorted, you can whitelist the admin-ajax.php from this restriction, or you can add the following code snippet to your functions.php to enable the static script insert feature by GDPR Cookie Compliance
add_action( 'gdpr_cc_prevent_ajax_script_inject', '__return_true' );

Thanks for the details.

It seems you’ve added the “gdpr-modules” to your child theme to override the GDPR layout.
Please check the following files included by your child theme:
/wp-content/themes/generatepress_child/gdpr-modules/modal/tab-navigation.php
/wp-content/themes/generatepress_child/gdpr-modules/infobar/floating-button.php

Compare and if necessary, update the layout accordingly from the GDPR Cookie Compliance plugin (if these files are not touched by you, you can simply remove the tab-navigation.php & floating-button.php files from your child theme).
These files are located in:
/wp-content/plugins/gdpr-cookie-compliance/gdpr-modules/modal/tab-navigation.php
/wp-content/plugins/gdpr-cookie-compliance/gdpr-modules/infobar/floating-button.php
