Responsive Themes and CSS
Hi, I have just uploaded a new website for myself. I used the DesignFolio Responsive theme. I am having a few problems using the theme on my iPhone. The site works responsively, before my additions. What I want to do is to make all the (divs etc )that I added in my designing of the home page and other areas like, header.php, page.php and footer.php responsive just like the rest of the site. See the website here http://www.webdesigngoogleit.com – all of this should be done using CSS and Media Queries.
I have looked at different media queries and I have added code to the header: See these:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo get_stylesheet_uri(); ?>" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="./designfolio-child/handheld.css" type="text/css" media="all" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="./designfolio-child/handheld.css" type="text/css" media="Screen" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="./designfolio-child/screen.css" type="text/css" media="Screen" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="./designfolio-child/mobile.css" type="text/css" media="handheld" />
[Please post code & markup between backticks or use the code button. Your posted code may now have been permanently damaged by the forum’s parser.]
along with adding stylesheets for handheld.css, mobile.css, screen.css these files are added to the designfolio-child theme. I would like some assistance if anybody can help. Because as a web Designer, I need to be able to design for handheld and mobile applications. If anybody knows a simple and easy way to do this I would be grateful. If not maybe you can point me to a video tut or two that will make it clear about what I need to do.
