I have seen a number of questions about this, but i am still unable to fix.

I am using the responsive theme, and have created a child theme for it.

I have placed a logo next to my menu in the header, exactly as i want it and it works perfect.

The only problem is the responsive behavior. When viewed on a small screen the menu collapses onto two rows until the alternative menu takes over, and when that menu takes over, it does not open completely (i think because i inserted another full width image in the header). so there are actually two problems.

the website is http://www.icia.org.il << try reducing the browser size slowly to see the problem

I am no expert on responsive yet but do you need to specify different widths to cater for the different screen widths.

It's almost as if it's not aware of a medium 'tablet' sized screen but understands mobile sizes.

I had problems with responsive before and put my child theme css into the custom css screen (of the parent theme) in the theme options and it seemed to do everything I wanted so you could try that?

I suppose you could make a copy of the theme and rename it if you want to stay clear of amending Responsive, then install and activate that on a sub domain to see what happens.
