I’m writing to create a three-column drop-down menu in the header menu area. I edited the .menu li li and .menu .ul, adding a set width to the .ul (600px) and then setting a fixed width to the li li (180px) and adding the float: left. This nearly works like a charm, but it looks like the float drops to the right of the first row in the column, forcing an extra space. See the “County Types” menu item here: americancommunities.org. Here’s the relevant CSS that’s in the child theme:
