Responsive Text Issue

On the Home Page just below the hero image is a box labeled ‘Announcements’. The box will resize but the text does not. Using the visual editor widget. Text also does not center below the title. Nothing I have tried has any effect and this is not occurring in any other widget on the site. Could it be the use of a ul?
