responsive team & plugin that does what it says it does

The WordPress plugin ecosystem can be challenging to navigate. On one hand, you can find the perfect plugin for your use case, and upon looking at the plugin stats, you find that it hasn’t been updated for two years and the dev team hasn’t responded to requests since the last Olympics. On the other hand, you find a plugin that pushes constant updates, but is so buggy that it breaks your site with regularity.

Slimstats is the rare pluigin that:
1: does what it says it does (huge)
2: is regularly updated
3: is supported by a responsive team
4: has a large number of installs driving progress and feedback
5: doesn’t make me hate myself for installing it because it constantly breaks my sites.

I should say that I have found the paid bundle of add-ons to be a great addition to the WordPress sites I manage. From a “value to the client” perspective, slimstats provides valuable insights that clients “get” without additional explanation.
