• Hi,

I’m trying to improve my WordPress skills all the time, so, I was wondering could someone help me with this or point me to a resource.

In order to have Sub-Menu items in the main Navbar of my theme, I have had to create pages as sub-menu items and then put the individual content pages off those. So for example,

Food (Main Navbar Item) > January (blank page just exists to make a sub-menu) > Content Page (actual page nested beneath).

So, if someone clicks January rather than the page beneath it, it takes them to January which is just a blank page which solely exists in order for the menus to work. Is there a better way to do this or a plugin? So that January would be an unclickable menu option with sub pages nested beneath it?

The second problem is, though I can live with this messy approach, the nested/sub-menu structure is not carrying through on mobile. So all menu items, sub items, pages etc. appear as jumble in the mobile Nav menu. A totally disorganised mess.

Any advice on getting a good sub-menu system going which would carry over to the mobile site. I don’t really want to switch themes of possible…

    Thanks!
