Creating a responsive email is rather complex, if not impossibile, since the mail reader usually are not enough advanced to accept CSS3 media query or javascript.

But a theme designed with all reference to measures in a relative way (for example using the percent values) can be something like a responsive theme.

I understand. That’s an interesting suggestion. I’ll experiment with that.

What I’m trying to do is make sure that users of iphones can read our blog posts in the newsletter emails as easily as possible.

Of course if you create a “plain” email it should work on every client. But if you create a multicolumns email it will be hard to make it good in every kind of client.

Possibly, create a single column email, do not use tables (or only a main one with 100% width if you need a decent formatting and separation in “rows”). Use the align left for images so they can be displayed on the left ot on the top af a block of text…

Thank you for taking time to help. I have come up with a solution based on your suggestions. Brilliant!

Thanks again. I think that “completes” this topic.

I’m trying to create a responsive RSS newsletter using content from my company’s intranet. I’ve created the template and successfully addded it to WordPress ( however cannot import the URL into my newsletter software. Is it possible to do this from an https site?
