[Resolved] Responsive Navigation

  • Hi again! When I view the theme on my iPhone, the site looks AMAZING however the drop down main navigation shows only a blue square with white lines. Is there a way to modify that blue box easily to make it obvious to a novice user that this is where to tap for mobile navigation? Thank you! Andrea

  • Hi Andrea,
    you could easily add text to your button with this snippet.

    Great! Only it still shows the horizontal lines behind the word “Menu”. Can you help? Thanks!

    I’m updating the Snippet, but you need to add the following to your functions.php in a Child Theme:

    // Remove 3-bars from menu button
    add_filter('tc_menu_display', 'rdc_menu_display');
    function rdc_menu_display($output) {
        return preg_replace('|<span class="icon-bar"></span>|', null, $output);
    }

    and then readjust the CSS using:

    .btn-navbar {
    width:          60px;
    height:         30px;
    vertical-align: top;
    }

    .btn-navbar:after {
    content:        "Menu";
    float:          right;
    margin:         -5px 0 0 0;
    }

    Snippet updated

    Works perfectly! Thanks for excellent support!
