    Hi,

    with this link you can see the 5 screenshots I made, I hope they make my problems clear:
    https://1drv.ms/f/s!AvRSVuKl2U0-gc56CvQ4wdgM5U-Oxg

    and with this link you can see the same tables live (just scroll to the bottom of the page):
    http://www.mmweg.rwth-aachen.de/ags/verleih/biertische/

    Comments on the screenshots:

    Collapse: On firefox it looks good but on chrome it looks messed up.The words should not break into small pieces

    Flip 1: Both look good. Breakpoint Device: Tablet
    Flip 2: On Firefox the Table is too wide, if you view it on a desktop. chrome is fine on a desktop.

    Scroll 1: On firefox it looks good but on chrome it is not even responsive at all (no scrolling possible)
    Scroll 2: With a different Table it does not look as good as before on firefox. The words should not break into small pieces. On Chrome it is also not working at all.

    If you need more information from me, feel free to ask.

    Kind regards,
    Nicolas

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    It seems that this is caused by some “Custom CSS” that you have added (the first three commands, in particular):

    .tablepress {
    	overflow: break-word;
    	-ms-word-break: break-all;
    	word-break: break-word;
    	-webkit-hyphens: auto;
    	-moz-hyphens: auto;
    	-ms-hyphens: auto;
    	hyphens: auto;
    }

    Please remove that and test again. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,
    now it is almost working thanks!

    The only problem remaining is the one from screenshot “flip 2”: A table in flip mode will be too wide in desktop view .this time it is visible in firefox and chrome as well.

    All other problems are gone, thank you!

    Kind regards,
    Nicolas

    Hi,

    indeed, the flip mode is not working at all on your site, but I don’t see why.
    It seems that the CSS3 Media Query is not evaluated by the browser. This could be caused by interference of some other CSS code on the page, added by another plugin or your theme maybe.

    Ok luckily we will probably not use the flip mode so I can live with that.

    But one more question: Do you know how I can manipulate the look of the scrollbar for the scroll mode? On a Desktop it is always visible and bigger, while on a phone it is only visible if you scroll and it is smaller.

    I am just afraid that people will overlook that they can scroll sideways and will therefore miss some important information.

    Kind regards,
    Nicolas
