Support » Theme: Hueman » Responsive Menu with Minify

  • So I was messing with my site today and deleted some .JS exclusions out of my minify (WP Minify Fix) and after I did that my responsive menu stopped working and will no longer drop down.

I have no idea why I didn’t take a screen shot or a backup before I removed them. One of those days.

Anyway, is there a specific javascript calling the menu drop down. When I turn off JS minify all works. I checked firebug, fiddler, the file folder to try to figure out what JS it’s calling. Is it just the jquery.js or is there another one I can exclude from my minify? Rest of the site works fine minifying Java, just that one piece stops working.

Appreciate the help (URL is PancakeWarriors.com) As I mentioned I have JS minify turned off right now so the menu does work.

    Any thoughts I appreciate it!

  • Hi davepancakewarriors. Are you using the standard WP menus? Seems odd that you would need to exclude js from minify to get the menus to work. I tried it on a default theme installation, with the default plugin configuration, and didn’t see any issues.

Hey dbbrown I really appreciate you getting back to me.

I’m using the standard WP menus – what came with Hueman.

I am using WP Minify Fix Plugin to minify my site. W3TC doesn’t work well with the CSS on hueman.

What minify program were you using? Maybe I should give that one a shot if it works well with the default install of hueman – I haven’t done much other than CSS changes to the site.

    Thanks for the help.

I just tested it using WP Minify Fix with the default options. Didn’t have any problems with menus. I’ve also used Autoptimize without any issues.
