 * thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
 * It seems that you would like to use the `collapse` mode for this table. Unfortunately,
   that will not work as long as the table contains connected cells, using the `#
   colspan#` keyword. This is not compatible with the DataTables JS library.
 * So: You will either have to use the `flip` or `scroll` mode for this table or
   remove all `#colspan#` from the table.
