Hi @jasnick
Could you please share a page containing the Responsive Image Gallery you are referring to so that we can test this issue from our end before we can advise further?
Thanks in advance for doing so.
Kind regards,
Elvis.
Hi Elvis
Thank you for your reply. The site is still in development so do not want to publish pages as yet.
I am extracting the images from the client’s documents page by page and I did find that one of the images was uploaded from two different pages and were two different sizes and placed in two different Galleries. Both had the same caption twice. When I removed the smaller image and replaced it with the larger one, each image then had only one caption.
So it might just be a case of duplicate images which I will no doubt discover as I get on with the site.
If I find I still have this issue when I have completed the site I will certainly get back to you if I may.
Thank you again for your response Elvis.
Hi @jasnick
Sure thing! You can let me know and I’ll be happy to look into it.
Lastly, if you don’t mind and have a spare few seconds, could you please rate FooGallery on WordPress (https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/foogallery/reviews/#new-post), as that really helps our reputation within the WordPress plugin repository. We’ll be really grateful to you for that.
If you can’t of course that’s fine too! Thanks in advance either way!
Kind regards,
Elvis.

No problem. Just posted a review.
Update: I found the problem of duplicate captions disappeared when I changed the Lightbox Caption Source setting from: Smart (try to show both caption titles and descriptions if available) to
Same As Thumbnail
Further update: the previous ideas proved inconsistent so settled for three Lightbox settings: Override, Attachment Caption and None.
