Hello and thanks for the great plugin, I love it!

Everything looks nice on my page, but the events list (html table) is not responsive and looks ugly on mobile.

    I have entries like this:
    Samstag, 7. Oktober 2017 | 11:00 bis 13:00 | Laeiszhalle | Chorprobe (Anja) Tutti

Looks lovely from 1024px upwards. Now, I could add responsiveness with some CSS juggling, but my preference would be to switch to this format if the screen get narrow:

    7.10. | 11:00-13:00 | Chorprobe (Anja) Tutti

e.g. change the date format, the time format and skip a column.

    Any ideas?
    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Thanks for using EM. It’s not possible out the box at the moment. it may be possible with custom coding but unfortunately that’s not something we can help with. however, maybe you can try something like this – http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14436800/two-divs-next-to-each-other-that-then-stack-with-responsive-change

Thanks so much, Jordan, for the speedy reply.

Yes, the link describes what I meant with CCS juggling. It would require me to rewrite the table into DIVs.
In case anyone else has a similar problem, here’s an article about responsifying html tables without DIV re-formatting: https://www.demacmedia.com/making-html-tables-responsive/

I’m not sure yet how I’ll tackle this. If I end up writing custom code (and it actually works), I will post a snippet.

I use the PlugIn for the members-only area of our web-site to manage attendance of choir rehearsals. I might use it for the public area as well for people to purchase tickets for our concerts – if I find out how to change the way events will be treated & displayed based on event attributes. I’ll certainly go for the Pro version in this case.
Just a note to the team on how your product is used. Thought you might be interested.

    Thanks again!

    Hello again,

Thank’s so much for the feedback. It’s suggestions like that that will help improve the plugin in the future.
