 * I use emphasize for my blog (berghungrig.de). Unfortunately the homepage looks
   different on iphone and ipad with the sub-topics fully visible instead of drop-
   down. I’m looking forward to your advice. Thank you!

 * It looks like the mobile menu isn’t styled at all in your theme. Is this a child
   theme or original theme.
 * What is displaying is an unordered list which wordpress generates for the menu.
   You will have to either create a child theme and style it or if this is a child
   theme you will have to add the styles to style.css.
 * You can use a custom css plugin if you choose.

 * Ah… I know why. You need to create a custom menu, which has the responsive styling.
   Right now it looks as though you are using the default WP menu which only shows
   pages.
 * Create a custom menu (which is a lot more flexible) for your site and you will
   be fine 🙂
