[Resolved] Responsive blog sidebar

  • hey there,
I am trying to make the sidebar responsive and not disappear when it is below a certain amount of pixels, but I can not find the sidebar in any of the php files to see why it is disappears. I am a beginner at this so it might be obvious but not to me.

The sidebar is replaced with a header on tablets/mobiles becuase there’s no room for it on the side of the theme on smaller devices. It’s the way Wilson, along with most other themes with the “header” in the sidebar, adjusts to smaller sizes.

If you want to, you can change it by modifying the code around line 1660, beginning at @media (max-width: 788px) {.

Ahh, I looked through that but I must have missed that, thank you Anders!

Also, one more thing, where can I find the sidebar in the php files, I want to add another container over one of the smaller widgets I moved with absolute positioning, since it moves when I shrink the resolution gradually and doesn’t stay in the same place like I want it to.

Thank you again for your help.

It’s in header.php, near the bottom of the file. No worries!
