 * I’m using both responsive and first column fix codes but am not able have the
   first column fixed.
 * [table id=1 responsive=scroll datatables_fixedcolumns_left_columns=1 /]
 * Is there something missing?

 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * Unfortunately, this will not work like that. The main problem here is that your
   table uses the `#colspan#` keyword to merge cells in the first row. As this is
   not compatible to the external DataTables JS library, you can not use the FixedColumns
   Extension with this table.
