Responsive 2 column in post

  • I am trying to get 2 columns (50% each) to be 100% at a smaller screen. Easy right? Well I’m finding this very difficult.

    This is the structure of my columns
    <div class=”leftColumn” style=”width: 50%; float:left”>

    • list left 1
    • list left 1
    • list left 1

    </div>
    <div class=”rightColumn” style=”width: 50%; float:right”>
    Text, text,text
    </div>

    My custom CSS is
    @media(max-width: 480px) {
    .leftColumn,
    .rightColumn {width:100%;} }

    This is not working. Any suggestions would appreciated.

    Note: I have tried this with page builder and it works, however page builder does not have the text editing buttons which I can’t live without. I have also tried to wrap the columns in a Div,class and width 100%. That didn’t work either.

    Thanks
