Could be a file size problem. Some web servers have a limit on the file size you can create.
My advice is try to use a cloud base backup plugin solution like this one . You can check WordPress repository for similar solutions.
I found out that even with and external solution it won’t work, because your provider won’t even allow for you to create a temp file that big. Either upgrade your account or change to a server that allows bigger files.
XCloner does have an option to split the backup if it’s larger than the set size, but i am not sure if this is the case for you.
If you like, feel free to open a support ticket on our site xcloner.com and i would be happy to look into the problem for you.
Hello @obadiola, if you are currently hosted with GoDaddy then you will have to contact their support and report your current issue. I am almost 100% certain that the issue is not with this great plugin. In regards to your comment…
My hosting is in GoDaddy. Before I have had 1and1 hosting and it was working properly
Many report many different kind of issues with GoDaddy hosting company especially those who use WordPress. I personally have not had any of my websites hosted with GodDaddy.
I hope this helps you.
Kind regards
