 * Hi,
 * I just added a video playlist to my site and the videos show up extremely large.
   Is there a way to adjust the size of the video playlist player?
 * Thanks!

 * WordPress doesn’t have built-in video playlists. It has a built-in video player,
   but playlists aren’t part of it.
 * What plugin are you using for this functionality, or was it built into your theme?

 * James,
 * Thanks for the quick response! I guess I just assumed the video playlist was
   part of one of the recent WordPress updates. In that case it’s definitely part
   of my theme as I haven’t downloaded a plugin for this.
 * That being said, under what file do you think I would be able to find the code
   for the video playlist so that I can edit its size?
 * This is the theme I have by the way if it’s helpful at all: [](https://wordpress.org/themes/arcade-basic)
 * Thanks for any and all help!

 * Well, it’s hard to say, there are 3,048 themes in the free directory alone, and
   they all operate a bit differently.
 * What is the name of your theme, and where did you get it from?

 * The name of this theme is Arcade (basic). And here’s the link: [Arcade Basic](https://wordpress.org/themes/arcade-basic)
 * Alternatively, do you think there is a way to edit the size just via the “Text”
   section. Here is the code used for the video playlist:
 * [playlist type="video" ids="178,174,175,176,177"]
 * Again appreciate the help.

 * Ok, for this, I recommend asking at [https://wordpress.org/support/theme/arcade-basic#postform](https://wordpress.org/support/theme/arcade-basic#postform)
   so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

 * Hello James, just to be completely sure about what I read above, you told that“
   WordPress doesn’t have built-in video playlists” so you can’t mange it. In my
   experience, WordPress does not have a MANAGEMENT TOOL of youtube playlists, but
   has a video player that embeds them like normal videos. I tried to insert a playlit
   in a wordpress.com site (so: without special plugns) and the playlist is published
   without any problem. Here you are the example: [https://ilfrigo.wordpress.com/playlist/](https://ilfrigo.wordpress.com/playlist/)
 * What I can’t do is modify the aspect or the cofiguration of the playlist because
   there aren’t specific shortcodes to do that, like the [video] shortcodes.
 * So… I can insert playlist from youtube, but I can’t change any setting (width,
   height, autoplay, poster and so on).
 * Is that correct?
 * All the best,
    Marco Morello
