Support » Fixing WordPress » resizing issues – content cut off

  • I am working on a site and could use some help. If the browser window is resized to under 960px, the content width, if you scroll right the content appears to be cut off.

    could use some input as to why this may be happening??

    thanks

    All I can see is the content’s box shadow is slightly cut off, which you can resolve by adding another div around your content, then setting the width to that (instead of the content div).

    It seems okay in Firefox, but you do have a CSS error in that section so that may be causing problems in other browsers?

    #blurb {

    	padding: 0 10px 0 10px;
    	font-size: 14px;
    	color: #
    	line-height:130%;
    }

    thanks WPyogi for catching the blurb error. deleted that.

    Andrew – the header is cut off as well so i’m not sure that wrapping the content wrapper will solve it.

    neither the header or content have widths set so they should be full page width.

    Look to me like, you’ll need to have some kind of space created outside those divs in order to make a margin so they don’t run up against the browser edge. Since you want to center using the side margins on auto, you’ll need another wrapper in both places.

    I’ll play around with that and see what works.

    thanks
