 * I have a slideshow that was originally created by a now retired web designer.
I want to add new slides to the show, which was successful; however, the dimensions
to that image are wrong and creates extra space between the slideshow and the
   text, which wasn’t there before.
 * I tried to “scale image” to the size of slideshow dimensions by clicking on the“
edit image” link when the image is selected from the “set feature image” screen,
but when I type in one dimension, it automatically resizes the other dimension
and won’t let me customize it.
 * In other words, I want my image to be 730X300 (the size of my slideshow), but
when I type in 730 in one of the box, the number 548 automatically appears in
   the other box.
 * Can you please help?

   Thanks so much!

 * You need to do that in an image editor, not in wordpress. Try [http://pixlr.com/editor/](http://pixlr.com/editor/)
open your image(s) , go to image/image size and resize your image to 730×300.
Actually the cropping may be better than resizing, depending on what you need
to do (image / canvas size).

 * I am trying to use Meteor Slides in a page with 2014 Extended theme. I initially
had some trouble with the height not being what I wanted it to be (525px), but
then I realized I had published the slides first. So I deleted the page, the
slideshow and the slides, then recreated the slides. The slides now show a size
of 774X525, which is perfect. I then created a new slideshow and inserted the
slides, then a new page and inserted the short code. I’m still getting slides
that are roughly an inch and a half tall, when I think they should be more like
5 inches tall. Here is a link to the show. Any ideas?

 * Sorry Josh, I tinkered around with this a bit more and got it to work. First
I thought it was because I had sized my pictures outside of WP, so I sized them
on my desktop rather than scaling them in WP. I also saved them as PNG’s. Originally
they were JPG’s. One of those 2 things seemed to do the trick, although now it
seems to work even when I try to recreate the problem! Meteor Slides is working
perfectly for me now. Thank you so much.
